INTENSIVE COURSES AT OPTIMUS
HANDS-ON LEARNING
The UK Department of Transport found that, on average, a pupil taking 1 or 2 hours of driving lessons per week takes around 14 months to be ready for their test. This makes it the longest – and most expensive – route to passing your test.
Intensive driving courses have been proven to be the fastest way for learners to learn everything they need to take and pass their driving test – and it can be all done in just 1 week.
Intensive driving courses usually run on consecutive days in 3 x 2 hour sessions (with breaks in-between for a coffee break and lunch) but I am able to offer some flexibility to fit around your work or family commitments. When booking your course a non-refundable deposit of just £50 is required to allow me to confirm your course in my diary, with 100% of the total cost payable on the first lesson.
However, at Optimus Driving School, my belief is that an Intensive Course is not for everyone and especially not a complete beginner. I would suggest that an Intensive Course is usually only suitable for learners who have already had at least 10 to 20 hours of previous experience with a qualified instructor.
You will normally need to be available for lessons between 9am and 5pm during the week. You will also need to book and pay for your Practical Test for as soon after your Intensive Course is set to finish. We can discuss this in greater detail when you book your course.
Courses should be booked at least 2 to 3 months in advance to enable me to clear my diary for your course.
